In addition to turkey and stuffing, some house-hunting is likely to be on at least a few plates this Thanksgiving week in Palm Beach.
And property shoppers with the deepest pockets — such as hedge-fund and tech billionaires — are encountering a bit of a shake-up in the houses being marketed in the island’s multiple listing service.
Most notably, the $115 million listing for Il Palmetto, Netscape billionaire Jim Clark’s landmarked estate at 1500 S. Ocean Blvd., has dropped out of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors MLS. Listing agent Cristina Condon of Sotheby’s International Realty said she was still authorized to show the estate to qualified buyers but wouldn’t discuss why the listing had expired in MLS.
